This workshop combines two deeply restorative practices: Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra, designed to release deep tensions, calm the nervous system and promote a state of total relaxation.
Yin Yoga, a passive, meditative practice that works on deep flexibility and the release of connective tissue. We will hold postures on the floor for 3-5 minutes, focusing on breathing and releasing any accumulated tension.
Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation that induces a state of deep relaxation. In a comfortable posture (Savasana), you will follow instructions to move through your body with awareness, visualise images and access a state of deep rest, similar to sleep but with full awareness.

A nourishing Yin Yoga class that includes gentle breathing exercises and guided meditation.
Yin Yoga helps to relax and de-stress while working the deeper connective tissues, improving flexibility and supporting joint and ligament health.
In each posture, we will explore the body, finding the perfect space to settle into stillness and release stiffness or stagnation without forcing.
Calming breath work (Pranayama) will balance the nervous system, and a short Shavasana meditation will leave you relaxed and ready for a restful sleep.
Rooted in traditional Indian and Chinese principles, Yin Yoga works with Prana (Chi) energy and the channels (Nadis/Meridians) that carry it through the body.
By holding the postures longer, we release stagnant energy, which allows for physical and emotional healing.
This gentle, meditative practice is ideal for beginners and advanced students alike.
