SANDRA PARRA – SANNAS
Sannas was born five years ago, after a lifetime of research with the body and emotions through art, dance and artistic psychotherapy. It was born out of my curiosity for alternative therapies and an impulse to get into them through massage.
My sessions combine various ingredients that I mix according to the needs of the person who puts themselves in my hands. I can include more physical therapies such as Thai massage or joint osteopathy with more sensitive therapies such as oil massage. I usually close the sessions with the vibration of Tibetan singing bowls.
The sensitivity and intensity with which I habituate my body and relate to the world has been an incredible bridge to connect with people and be hands that accompany processes, sometimes painful but also through pleasure and joy.
Meditation, mindful dance, hands-on healing or Thai massage have been very useful tools.
Two years ago I travelled to Thailand to train with the best masters in the north of the country, but my grandmothers and my mother also influenced me with their natural therapies, ancestral therapies that have endured and have left their mark on me: ointments, oils, Mediterranean plants and even prayers.
