JAUME CATA

Jaume Cata is a lifelong drummer and percussionist. He trained as a tabla player (classical Indian percussion) over 10 years ago in the ancient city of Varanasi, within the renowned Mishra family lineage. He is one of the most recognized tabla players on the national scene, which has led him to collaborate with artists such as Jai Uttal, Luis Paniagua, Tina Malia, Manu Om, Ravi Ram, Carme Nalini, and Jaya Deva, among others.

Jaume brings his calm presence and deep knowledge of yoga to the stage with humility and simplicity.
